"It is unfortunate that a person has lost his life by stowing aboard one of our aircraft and we express our condolences," the spokesman told BBC News. "Kenya Airways is working closely with the relevant authorities in Nairobi and London as they fully investigate this case."
Although unusual, it's not the first time a stowaway has been killed in a fall from an airplane, Sky News reported. The news network reported a 30-year-old man from Mozambique, identified as Jose Matada, died in September 2012 after falling from the undercarriage of a flight traveling from Angola to Heathrow. In 2015, a man landed on a shop in southwest London after he fell from the undercarriage of a plane traveling from Johannesburg, according to Sky News.
