Interim Chief Steven B. Outlaw said 41-year-old Antwann Demetrius Brown was arrested in connection with the stabbings.

Update 1 p.m. EDT Sept. 11: Officials with the Tallahassee Police Department arrested 41-year-old Antwann Demetrius Brown in connection with the stabbings, Interim Chief Steven B. Outlaw said at a noon news conference.
"Investigators have learned that Brown is an employee of Dyke Industries and stabbed a total of five employees with a folding knife," the department said in a news release.
Outlaw said at the news conference that Brown had been working at Dyke Industries for three months. He said there was a dispute at work this morning and Brown was asked to clock out of work, which he did at 8:20 a.m. local time. On his way out of the facility, "he appeared that he was actually had sought out certain victims," Outlaw said.
Brown was taken into custody "almost immediately" after police arrived at the scene. He was not injured, Outlaw said, and as of the time of the news conference, was being interviewed by police.
Outlaw said there was a "heroic act" among some employees and Brown was able to be held off before her could injure anyone else. He did not elaborate on the act.
Police do not have a motive at this time.
Update 11:20 a.m. EDT Sept. 11: Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare has corrected the number of people treated. An update was also given on the condition of those injured, WTXL reported.
"Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare received five patients from the incident, not six as initially reported," the hospital said in statement. "One patient is in serious condition; two patients are in fair condition; and two patients are in good condition."
Police said the suspect is being questioned, according to WTXL.
Original story: Police are investigating stabbing incident at a Tallahassee, Florida, industrial park. The condition of the victims is not publicly known. Police spokesman Damon Miller did not give details on the number of people hurt.
"Upon officer's arrival, they discovered multiple stabbing victims and provided immediate medical attention," the department said in a statement, according to CNN.
Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is treating six people from the stabbing, according to spokeswoman Danielle Buchanan.
"They are currently being evaluated by our medical team," Buchanan told the Democrat. "We will provide an update as soon as more information becomes available."
