Super Bowl 2020: Iowa zoo’s red panda picks Chiefs to win Sunday

It seems as if everyone has an opinion about Sunday’s Super Bowl. Even pandas at an Iowa zoo have weighed in.

Thursday in Iowa, Basu, a 6-year-old red panda at the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, was faced with a choice of snacks, each placed in separate boxes marked with the logos of the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, KCCI reported.

Basu climbed up the cage, sniffed around the box with the Chiefs’ logo, and then helped itself to a snack.

Animals at the Blank Park Zoo are on a roll, as they have correctly picked six of the last nine Super Bowl winners, the television station reported.

Last year, a giraffe named Skye correctly picked the New England Patriots to win, KCCI reported.
