Super Bowl 2020: ‘I better hear no lip-synching’ Lady Gaga warns halftime performers

Singer Lady Gaga delivered a strong message to singers who will perform at halftime for Super Bowl LIV at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

Gaga, appearing at the AT&T TV's Super Saturday night at Meridian at Island Gardens, called out performers Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, the co-stars for Sunday's halftime show, Hollywood Life reported.

“I better not hear no lip-syncing tomorrow!" Gaga shouted to the crowd.

Moments later, while sitting at a piano, Gaga tempered her sharp rebuke somewhat.

"I love you Miami. I love you J. Lo, I love you Shakira!” the singer told the crowd.

Gaga reprised her Super Bowl halftime entrance from three years ago, descending from the air to open her performance, according to The Associated Press.

Toward the end of her show, she said she hoped Shakira and Lopez would turn in sterling performances, the AP reported.

“I wish so much love and so much luck to everyone that’s doing the halftime show, to both the teams that are playing each other in the Super Bowl,” Gaga said. “They’re all champions.”
