Steelers’ James Conner gives military veteran trip to Super Bowl

The Pittsburgh Steelers won't be playing in this year's Super Bowl, but running back James Conner is giving a military veteran the trip of a lifetime.

Conner announced on Twitter that he teamed up with USAA and the Air Force Sergeants Association to award Command Chief Master Sergeant Louis Boykin and a guest a trip to Miami to watch the big game in style.

“With over three decades of military service to his name, Command Chief Master Sergeant Louis Boykin is someone our country owes a debt of gratitude to,” said Conner in a release. “I am honored to team up with USAA and the AFSA to provide a trip to the Super Bowl to recognize Chief Boykin’s honorable military career and am looking forward to meeting him in Miami.”

Boykin is planning on attending the event with his wife Delores.

Conner is scheduled to meet with Boykin and other military members at USAA's Salute to Service Lounge during Super Bowl weekend.
