The recall involves two models:
- Kolcraft Cuddle 'n Care 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline sleeper, model number starting with KB063
- Kolcraft Preferred Position 2-in-1 Bassinet & Incline sleeper, model number starting with KB061
The models can be found on a metal bar between the legs of the bassinets.
Owners are being told to stop using the inclined sleeper accessory, which is the only portion of the system being recalled; the bassinet can be used without the piece, the CPSC said.
If you have the bassinet that is affected by the recall you can contact Kolcraft by phone at 800-453-7673 Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CT, by email at customerservice@kolcraft.com or clicking here.
The company will issue a $35 voucher for its website or a $20 refund.
The bassinet was sold at stores and online from March 2011 through December 2017 for $140.
