Pulitzer Prize winning reporter left journalism to make more money


Los Angeles writer Rob Kuznia won a Pulitzer Prize for local reporting, along with two other people "for their inquiry into widespread corruption in a small, cash-strapped school district, including impressive use of the paper's website."

The reporting was done in the Daily Breeze.

Kuznia, however, has since left not just the Daily Breeze but all of journalism, taking a job instead as a publicist for the USC Shoah Foundation.

Kuznia told LA Observed it was just too hard to support himself on his newspaper salary in the Los Angeles area.
