WFTS reported that the arrest records said an argument broke out and Lantier, 18, got a cup of coffee off the counter and threw the drink at the employee.

A fight followed and Lantier had bite marks and scratches as a result, according to the report. The employee has scratches and swelling on her face, hands and arms from being burned by the coffee.

Police spoke to Lantier at her house, according to the records. She told them she did pick up the cup but did not know what was in it or what she was going to do with it. According to the records, Lantier said she got the cup with the intention of throwing it "in the general direction of the victim," WFTS reported.

WTVT reported that Lantier was charged with aggravated assault -- a felony, according to police hail records. The Herald reported that she posted bond and was released the next day.
