A St. Petersburg, Florida, man was arrested after police say he committed an armed robbery with his 18-month-old baby along for the ride.
Police said they received a call about an armed robbery at a QuickThru convenience store Thursday afternoon and, though the robber was masked, witnesses got a good look at his car, The Tampa Bay Times reports. An officer spotted the car and pulled over Edward Melendez.
A mask, a gun -- and Melendez’s 18-month-old daughter -- were found in the car, according to the Times.
Melendez was arrested on charges that include armed robbery and child endangerment.
