The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office received a call involving the drowning of a disabled person and Officer Matthew Reddish was in the area and responded quickly -- jumping in the pond into full gear to save the autistic, nonverbal child, the Sheriff's Office said.
The child was reunited with his family and is safe.
