Netflix comedy 'Big Mouth' renewed for 3 more seasons

The renewal is part of a multi-year deal Netflix signed with Brutus Pink, a newly formed animation production company comprised of the creators of "Big Mouth" -- Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett -- according to a statement from Netflix.

Netflix describes "Big Mouth" as the "fan beloved, critically-acclaimed and Emmy nominated adult animated comedy about the glorious nightmare that is puberty. Inspired by Kroll and Goldberg’s childhood, it follows a group of friends and their hormone monsters as they navigate adolescence, human sexuality, and coming of age."

Kroll posted a video to social media announcing the news and thanking fans.

Season 3 of "Big Mouth" is set for a fall release.
