That's what some drivers thought they saw Saturday when a man in a Halloween-style mask and a green wig traveled from Orange County to Venice Beach, where he was apprehended by police, KCAL reported.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the chase began at 3 p.m. in Westminster. A caller reported the costumed man leaning out of the sunroof of a BMW while driving, Officer Stephan Brandt told KTLA.

Troopers were not amused and ordered the driver to pull over, but the man kept driving and led officials on a chase from Orange County into Los Angeles County, Brandt told the television station.
The masked man finally stopped the BMW and ran onto Venice Beach, where dozens of people followed the man as he approached the water's edge, KCAL reported.
The man was arrested by police after being threatened with a stun gun, the television station reported.
Police said it was unclear what the man's motivation for his behavior, KTLA reported.
A woman who was a passenger in the BMW was not arrested, Brandt told the television station.
