"When she picked up that phone, she picked up the key to an unknown sort of life that he was leading," Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell told reporters Monday.
Investigators found images of three teen girls and an 11-year-old boy, WNEM reported. They also discovered 100 photos on Walton's computer, authorities said.
"We learned from our investigation that (the wife) would have young girls, nieces come over to the house and babysit, and they would stay all night," Pickell said, according to MLive.com.
Authorities arrested Walton, 37, and charged him with four counts each of surveilling an unclothed person and using a computer to commit a crime, WNEM reported. He may face additional charges, as well, Pickell said.
Walton, who was freed after posting $12,000 bail, is scheduled to appear before a judge May 23, MLive reported.
