Donna Ragan, who works with Charlotte's Second Harvest Food Bank, posted the video on Facebook, noting the coyotes were filmed Monday morning outside her mother's home on Marsh Road.

Ragan posted the video as a warning to homeowners to bring their pets inside at night.

Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation says encounters with coyotes should be treated just like any wild animal, meaning keep your distance and leave them alone.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
