Electrocuted slug blamed for stopping Japanese trains

An electrocuted slug is to blame for stopping 30 trains and impacting about 12,000 passengers last month, officials said.

Japan Railways officials found the slug’s remains in equipment near tracks at a station on the island of Kyushuthe BBC reported.

The slug slithered through a small gap and got into a load disconnector, the BBC reported.
