"You could hear it kicking shelves as it went through the store," Bert Moore told The Daily Record. "You could tell it was going to hurt itself or somebody else."
Moore was able to capture the animal, which was becoming tired from slipping along the floor, and hold it safely. Another customer came over to help, as did store employees. The group was able to move the animal toward a door at the back of the store. The doe regained control, and ran out of the store and into a field, The Daily Record reported.
"It was pretty neat to see the deer get up and walk away and know it was unharmed," Moore told The Daily Record. "That's a good feeling."
