On Wednesday, a driver zipping along a Colorado interstate highway at speeds reaching 131 mph offered a different excuse: He was in a hurry to return to college, KCNC reported..
According to a tweet from the Colorado State Patrol Aircraft Section, the driver was pulled over on I-70 near Limon after being clocked at 131 mph.

The man told troopers he had to "get back to college," authorities said.
"Can't make that up," CSP Aircraft tweeted.
The driver was arrested and taken into custody, KCNC reported.
"We saved a life today," CSP Aircraft tweeted.
