According to WALA-TV, police said people found the drugs, which included 86 pounds of cocaine and 21 pounds of marijuana, on Orange Beach from Tuesday through Thursday.
Barnacles clung to the drugs' water-resistant packaging, indicating that they had been in the Gulf for "a long time," WKRG reported.
Orange Beach police, the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are investigating the incident, WALA reported.
