Body found in Boston neighborhood identified as missing college student Maximillian Carbon

A missing college student was found dead in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood Sunday, according to the Boston Police Department.

The department said in an update they found a nonviable adult male victim Sunday morning, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as 19-year-old Maximillian Carbone, a student at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Police had issued a missing person alert for him Saturday night.

The cause of Carbone's death is under investigation, but detectives said they do not believe it was suspicious.

Police said Carbone had last been seen early Saturday between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. PDT at a party on Alleghney Street.

The Public Safety Department for the Wentworth Institute of Technology confirmed Sunday around 9:20 a.m. PDT that the search had been called off.

Around 10:22 a.m. Sunday, the medical examiner arrived on the scene in the area where search crews were looking for Carbone.
