As many watched the season 8 premiere of “Game of Thrones” from the edge of their seats, you may have still missed two cameos by actors who aren’t usually seen in the dark and bloody scenes of the HBO show.
Warning, spoilers below (and really, what are you waiting for?)
Rob McElhenney of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” fame, and Martin Starr, who stars in “Silicon Valley” died at the hands of Theon as he rescued his sister Yara from their uncle, Euron’s ship, Entertainment Weekly reported.
McElhenney put a rather bloody -- well fake blood -- screen grab of his cameo on his Instagram, saying he was from Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
McElhenney worked with “Game of Thrones” creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss when they wrote a 2013 episode of “Always Sunny,” Entertainment Weekly reported.
As for Starr, his show “Silicon Valley” aired after “Game of Thrones” for the past five years, according to Elite Daily.
This isn’t the first time a celebrity had a cameo. Last season, way back in July 2017, Ed Sheeran played a “Lannister soldier,” Elite Daily reported.
The band Of Monsters and Men were in episodes from seasons 4 and 6, People magazine reported.
