Senior Airman Jibril Jennings, a radio operator aboard the Airborne Warning and Control System at Tinker Air Force Base, was driving on a busy street Wednesday when he saw Janice Hall walking down the road, using her walker while carrying groceries, KOCO reported.

Hall was struggling in 101-degree heat after shopping at a Walmart, so Jennings pulled over and helped the woman load her groceries before taking her home, according to CBS News.

"When I got up to her, I asked her, 'Would you like a ride?' She said, 'Thank you, I would love that,'" Jennings told KOCO. "She reminded me of my grandmother. She just wanted to start talking about something. She had been walking all day. She had plenty of stops. And she finally got picked up on her last."

Amber Roy stopped to film the encounter and posted it on Facebook. Neither Jennings nor Hall knew they were being recorded, KOCO reported.

The video has been seen more than 4.2 million times since Roy posted it.

"I really appreciated it and he was such a good man and you just don't find people like that every day," Hall told KOCO.

Jennings is now working to help fix the broken ramp outside Hall's home, according to CBS News.
