Answer: The most important issue is keeping our families and community safe. As a veteran trial judge, I have a track record of being tough on crime, which sets the tenor for law enforcement. But I zealously guard the Constitutional rights of our citizens. I am a good listener who maintains a sense of dignity and neutrality so everyone has the opportunity to be heard. I also promote public access to court proceedings and records.
