Bio: Tom Koogler is married with 3 sons and 5 grandchildren. Tom started his trash business with one customer in 1967. Tom sold the company and became a Vice-President in WMI with total responsibility for $750 million in annual revenue.

Answer: Greene County concerns are the same as the rest of the Country - jobs. I will deal with these concerns with proven business leadership, new ideas and energies. I understand faciliting communication between the political sub-divisions and the private sector is an important aspect of our county's future. A foundation of trust between the private and public sectors will enable us to deal with the issuses of creating new jobs, controling spending and protecting WPAFB.

Answer: Protecting the present missions at WPAFB and obtaining new tenants is the most important issue. I will work with our national and state leaders to monitor future BRAC efforts. I will communicate with Fairborn officials on the closure of Rt. 444 to BRAC proof the Base. This will allow WPAFB to obtain new missions and protect our present tenants and also help Fairborn. I will coordinate with all our military and elected leaders to protect WPAFB.

Answer: The most important issue facing our community is the economy. As only one of three commissioners responsible for the taxing, budgeting, appropriating and purchasing for Greene County, I would address the issue by taking the lead to ensure that all three commissioners listen to the needs of the citizens and work closely with all other elected officials to compromise and delevop a consensus on proper funding priorities to improve the county and move forward.
