More than 20 people were treated for fall injuries over the weekend at Premier Health’s emergency rooms.
- Atrium Medical Center treated six patients for weather-related falls.
- Miami Valley Hospital South saw seven patients come in for injuries related to falls.
- Miami Valley Hospital North saw eight people treated for injuries due to falls.
- Upper Valley Medical Center saw a total of 10 patients treated for fall injuries.
Other weather-related injuries seen by local hospital included patients hurt while sledding or skiing.
Premier Health saw at least seven injuries from people sledding and one from a ski-related incident, officials said.
This news agency has reached out to both Dayton Children’s Hospital and Kettering Health Network for similar statistics, however has not heard back.
