Overnight: It will be mostly cloudy and muggy through the night, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Patchy fog is possible early, then clouds increase. Showers and a few storms arrive from the northwest towards daybreak. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.

Thursday: A few showers or thunderstorms are likely for the morning, especially northwest of Dayton. The day will start mild with temperatures in the 60s. Highs soar to the lower 80s, and it will be muggy, along with sunshine and scattered clouds. Showers and storms develop towards the end of the afternoon, mainly south of Interstate 70. Localized heavy rain, damaging winds and hail will be the main threats.

Friday: Most of the region should stay dry with highs in the middle 80s on this muggy but breezy day. There is a small chance for a pop-up shower.

Saturday: Expect dry time early on to start the weekend. Highs will again reach the mid-80s, which is well above normal. It will be muggy with a mix of sun and clouds. A few showers or storms may bubble up in the afternoon, and an isolated stronger storm is possible.

Sunday: There'll be more clouds than sun under muggy conditions with highs in the low to middle 80s. Showers and storms develop, especially into the afternoon and evening.

Monday: It will be mostly cloudy with a few more storms possible, along with highs approaching 80 degrees to start the workweek.
