UPDATE @ 9:14 p.m.: The statewide endangered missing adult alert for Cliff Hugh Jr. has been canceled, according to Columbus police and the state attorney general's office.

A statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert has been issued for a Columbus man last seen earlier this morning.

Cliff Hugh Jr., 89, left his home in Columbus around 9:30 a.m. and has not returned, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

He is considered endangered because he suffers from dementia and might not have his required medication with him.

Hugh is described as 5-feet 6-inches tall, 170 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be traveling in his gray 2019 Jeep Cherokee SUV, with Ohio license plate HSA 2916.

If you see Hugh or his vehicle you are asked to contact 911 immediately.
