Scooter Gennett suffers apparent injury during spring training game against Brewers

Cincinnati Reds player Scooter Gennett was removed from today’s Spring Training game against the Milwaukee Brewers after suffering an apparent injury.

The apparent injury happened during the second inning, when Gennett slipped on the outfield grass while fielding a ground ball.

Gennett was helped off the field and the injury appeared to possibly be in the groin area.
