Minor flooding possible for morning commute

Rain and thunder arrives tonight, with minor flooding possible for the morning commute, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said.

“Clouds will be on the increase, and it will continue to be windy at times,” Wirdzek said, as temperatures fall into the 50s.

Rain will push into the area very late, with some thunderstorms possible by the morning commute. Temperatures will fall through the 40s.

“Very heavy rain may lead to some minor flooding and poor travel conditions for the commute,” Wirdzek said.

Thursday: Rain and a few storms will continue through mid morning. Rain will taper down in the afternoon. Temperatures will stay steady in the low to mid-40s.

Friday: it will be mostly cloudy, breezy and colder with highs in the mid-30s. A few light snow showers are possible.

Saturday: Skies will be sunny, but it will still be cold with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Sunday: Clouds increase with a few showers possible and highs near 50 degrees.

Monday: It will be breezy with clouds and sun. Highs will reach the low 50s.
