OVERNIGHT: Expect a few passing light showers along with drizzle, mist and fog lingering into the overnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Overnight temperatures will bottom out into the upper 30s. A few flurries will be possible across the northern Miami Valley.

TODAY:Â A slow moving storm will gradually move north. Cold air from the northwest will move into the Miami Valley, so temperatures will move from about 40 degrees in the morning to the lower to middle 30s by the afternoon. Showers will develop mainly in across the Miami Valley through the day and quickly change from rain to snow showers in to the afternoon. Areas across the north will switch over sooner and will see snow longer. Light accumulation is expected especially northwest of Dayton. Into the evening untreated roads might get a little slushy or snow-covered. Snow shower sill taper into the night, but flurries will continue into Thursday morning. Snow totals of an inch or less likely for Dayton and points south. North of Dayton about 1 to 3 inches with high snow total across the north.

THURSDAY: It will be a cold morning in the low 20s with some slick spots due to snowfall the day before. A few flurries or a passing snow shower may linger into the afternoon. Highs will be around 30 degrees. It will be windy at times with gusts over 30 mph possible. Expect a very cold night to follow with temperatures dropping into the teens with wind chills briefly dipping into the single digits.
FRIDAY: It will be a frigid morning in the upper teens and wind chills will be around the upper single digits. Conditions will stay dry, but clouds will linger with a few peaks of sunshine. Highs are expected to stay around 30 degrees.
SATURDAY:Â Some sunshine will return but it will still be breezy and cold with highs in the lower 30s.

SUNDAY:Â Conditions will be mostly sunny and seasonable with highs in the lower 40s.
