Rain pauses today, to return tomorrow

After a rainy Thursday, today will be clearer, with cloudy skies to start with that will gradually break up for mostly sunny weather, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Highs today will be near 64 degrees. Overnight conditions will be similar, with partly cloudy skies and a low of around 48 degrees.

Tomorrow, however, showers will return to the area, especially in the early afternoon. High temperatures will reach around 63 degrees. Tomorrow night’s forecast calls for rain all night and into Sunday, with a low around 45 degrees.

Sunday, showers are predicted to continue into the afternoon, with a high near 56 degrees, before coming to an end for a cloudy but quiet Sunday night with a low around 38 degrees.
