Payroll Project: Clark State Community College’s highest-paid employees

Clark State Community College President Jo Alice Blondin was the highest paid government employee in Clark County in 2015.

Her pay was actually down slightly from 2014 and is about half what Sinclair Community College President Steve Johnson makes. Sinclair's enrollment is about five times that of Clark State.

Out of 1,474 employees last year, including student workers, 103 people made more than $50,000, according to a searchable database of local government payroll assembled by the I-Team. Seven administrators and one professor made more than $100,000, the same number as in 2014.

According to the data, the five highest-paid Clark State employees last year were:

1. President Jo Alice Blondin: $188,151.

2. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Amit Singh: $146,648.

3. Vice President of Business Affairs Joseph Jackson: $131,870.

4. Professor of Business and Applied Technologies Danis Heighton: $119,069.

5. Vice President of Student Affairs and Greene Center Operations Theresa Felder: $114,287.
