1 injured, flown to area hospital after Clark County rollover crash

UPDATE @ 10:20 a.m.:

A medical emergency is being investigated as a possible factor in a rollover crash in Clark County Thursday morning, according to officials.

The crash was reported on River Road, near the Ohio 334 and U.S. 68 interchange, in German Twp. around 9:20 a.m.

The crash caused the pickup truck to roll onto its side, trapping the driver inside, investigators said. The driver, only identified as a man, was freed from the wreckage and flown to Miami Valley Hospital by a CareFlight medical helicopter for treatment.

The condition of the driver wasn’t immediately released.

State troopers have shut down River Road west of U.S. 68 to take measurements of the crash. Its unknown investigators plan to reopen the road.

A CareFlight medical helicopter has been requested to the scene of a reported rollover crash on Ohio 334 in Clark County Thursday morning.

The crash was reported on the ramp from Ohio 334 to U.S. 68 around 9:20 a.m.

Initial reports indicate at least one person was trapped inside the vehicle after the crash.
