Describe what your day is like/what you do: I manage a neuroscience/stroke unit and an ortho/neuro surgery unit. This includes supporting approximately 100 incredible staff members so they can deliver amazing care. Loving and praying for every single one.
What inspired you to get into health care? My entire life I have thrived on helping others. At age 11, I was a volunteer at Dayton Children's Hospital and decided I wanted to care for and love on others during their neediest time and nurses are the ones that do this best.

What's a memorable experience you've had in health care? I have to say some of the most memorable moments in my 29 years have been when I was given the gift and honor of holding someone's hand as they transition out of this life.
