Dozens indicted, multiple arrests made for drug-related charges in Mercer County

So far in December, 11 people were arrested following indictments on drug-related charges and in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility, Sheriff Jeff Grey said in a media release Thursday. They are facing 32 felony charges, combined, investigators said.

Thirteen people, already in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility on other charges, were served indictments on their new charges, Grey said. They were indicted on 22 new felony charges, and two misdemeanor counts combined.

Three people in other correctional facilities also were indicted on drug-related charges in December, and three additional people were issued court summonses after they were indicted. 

Deputies are still looking for seven people who were indicted and are described by investigators as “at large.” 

Investigators did not release the names of the seven people still considered at large. 

Arrested after indictments: 

  • Christopher Anderson, 40, of Celina, for one count of aggravated drug trafficking.
  • Joshua P. Bernholt, 30, of Celina, for one felony count of drug possession and a misdemeanor county of possessing drug abuse instruments. 
  • Tina Hall, 52, of Celina, for four counts of aggravated drug trafficking. 
  • Craig Hall, 54, of Celina, for four counts of aggravated drug trafficking.
  • Maria A. McBride, 41, of Celina, for two counts of drug trafficking.
  • Roy M. Schmidt II, 35, of Celina, for two counts of aggravated drug trafficking.
  • Rebecca K. Springer, 58, of Celina, for one count of drug trafficking. 
  • Alissa R. Tebbe, 25, of Coldwater, for one felony count of possession of cocaine. 
  • James D. Thompson, 45, of Celina, for two counts of drug trafficking, and one county of trafficking in hashish.
  • Michael Toler, 50, of Celina, for two counts of aggravated drug trafficking.
  • Nathan J. Watkins, 25, of Celina, for four counts of drug trafficking, three counts of trafficking of heroin, and two counts of trafficking of cocaine. 
  • Jesse A. Williams, 35, of Celina, for one count of trafficking counterfeit controlled substances, aggravated drug trafficking, and trafficking of cocaine. 

Already in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility and served new charges while in jail: 

  • Orlando C. Candelaria Jr., for one count of possession of a counterfeit controlled substance, and aggravated drug possession. 
  • Deven R. Dugger, 22, for one count of burglary and theft from a person in a protected class.
  • Gregory S. Edwards, 52, one count of aggravated drug possession.
  • Kiah Z. Helmer, 22, for one count of possession of LSD and aggravated possession of drugs. 
  • Kelly R. Hooks, 39, for one count of aggravated drug possession and trafficking cocaine. 
  • Billie J. Huston, 37, for one count of aggravated drug possession. 
  • Joshua E. Kittle, 35, for one count of possession of heroin, tampering with evidence, both felony charges, and a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug abuse instruments.
  • Paige K. King, 20, for one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
  • Damion J. Post, 32, one felony count of possession of cocaine, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug abuse instruments. 
  • Kelli J. Rutter, 22, for three counts of trafficking of heroin. 
  • Jeremy E. Stineback, 40, five counts of aggravated drug possession.
  • Angel Storck, 29, for aggravated possession of drugs. 
  • Charles J. Tester, 30, for one count of aggravated drug possession.
