Detroit homicide suspect may have fled to Dayton because he has family here, Crime Stoppers says

A man suspected of committing a Detroit homicide may have fled to Dayton because police in Michigan believe he has family in this city, Crime Stoppers of Michigan said Monday afternoon.

Dayton area residents are being asked to be on the lookout for Darius Martez Calhoun, who is wanted for the slaying of Romaira Washington.

There is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for tips leading to his arrest.

Calhoun is described as heavy set, approximately 5-foot-10, medium complexion with short hair. Crime Stoppers of Michigan released a poster featuring Calhoun, which is attached to this news report.
