A group of good-minded people have traveled thousands of miles to Dayton, where they will honor victims of the Oregon District by performing good needs in their names.
The Honor Network arrived Sunday in the city to perform random acts of kindness for all nine victims killed in the Aug. 4 mass shooting.
>> Remembering the Victims | 2019 Dayton Oregon District Mass Shooting
The network formed in the wake of the Route 91 Harvest music festival shooting in Las Vegas that killed 58 people. The group’s kindness continues as it encourages those in the communities they visit to “be the good.”
Paying for meals at a restaurant, replacing a stolen bicycle, buying all the items on a baby’s registry and leaving large tips for hard-working servers are some of the ways the network has honored victims so far.
The group has posted their activities on social media.
