Colder air arrives tonight, snow possible Friday

The last of the light showers and drizzle will push east, although cloudy skies remain, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said.

Temperatures fall into the upper 30s this evening.

Tonight, clouds break late, and a few icy spots are possible as lows dip into the mid-20s, Wirdzek said.

Friday: Sun will give way to afternoon clouds. A few flurries or light snow showers are possible in the afternoon and evening. No road issues are expected. Highs will be in the mid-30s, which is close to 20 degrees below normal for his time of year, Wirdzek said.

Saturday: High pressure will briefly control the area, allowing for a sunny sky. But after a cold start in the teens, it will only warm up into the middle to upper 30s in the afternoon.

Sunday: Clouds increase, but it will be milder. A few showers will move through late in the day. Highs will be near 50 degrees.

Monday: Partly sunny skies and a breeze at times is expected with highs in the low 50s.

Tuesday: It will be mostly cloudy with a passing shower. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s.
