Cloudy, warmer today; Rain returns tonight

We will have a cloudy but warmer day today, with a high near 67 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. This evening, however, rain will return, especially after 7 p.m., with temperatures dropping to around 45 degrees.

Sunday will be colder, with highs only rising to 55 degrees. We will see heavier rain to begin with lightening into showers during the day. By tomorrow night, however, the rain will have stopped for a mostly cloudy night with a low around 40 degrees.
