Overnight: Cloudy and chilly conditions are expected with rain moving in overnight from the north, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Rain will become steady to heavy at times by morning. Overnight lows will hold in the upper 40s. Wind gusts through the night will reach between 25 and 35 mph.
Friday: Wet and windy conditions are expected. Heavy downpours and gusty winds may slow down drivers on the roads. Winds may gust up to 30 to 40 mph, especially at night. Temperatures will rise to the upper 50s. The record high for the day is 59 degrees, set in 2018. Rain will continue through the night along with gusty winds.
Saturday: Cloudy skies with scattered showers is expected for the first half of the day. A steadier, heavier line of rain and even a few rumbles of thunder will cross the area during the afternoon and evening. Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph are possible. It will be quite mild ahead of the front with highs in the lower to middle 60s. The record high for the day is 59, set in 2018. Two-day rain totals are expected to range between 2 and 3 inches before ending at night. Minor flooding is possible. As the storm system exits, temperatures will drop into the night. Overnight lows will fall to the lower 30s.
Sunday: It will be drier but cooler and windy to start. Clouds will break for sunshine with highs around 40 degrees.
Monday: It will be party cloudy with highs in the upper 40s.
