Car carrying trailer strikes overpass on Route 68 in Clark County

Update@10 a.m.:

The accident occurred when the driver of the truck hauling the vehicles forgot to properly secure one of the cars, and it was sticking up, police said.

As the driver attempted to drive under the train overpass, the car that was not properly secured struck the bottom of the overpass, and its top peeled off, police said. Several other cars on the truck were damaged as well.

No one was injured, and the scene has been cleared. All lanes are opened.

Initial report: 

One lane is closed on Route 68 south after a car carrying trailer reportedly hit the overpass near Route 40 in Clark County around 9 a.m.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is responding to the scene and we have a reporter on the way.

Debris is reportedly in the road.

It is not clear if there are any injuries.
