Trotwood police use Taser on man who was resisting being taken to jail

UPDATE @ 10:48 p.m.: Police used a Taser to subdue a man who was resisting being taken to jail in an apparent domestic incident on Fieldstone Drive in Trotwood.

No one was injured, we're hearing.

INITIAL REPORT

A reported disturbance just after 10 p.m. prompted the issuing of a “Signal 99” to help a police officer or officers in the 100 block of Fieldstone Drive in Trotwood.

When a “Signal 99” is issued, every available law enforcement officer is required to respond to the address given by dispatch.

We’re hearing there is at least one person in custody and that police may have used a Taser in making an apprehension. We have not heard that anyone has been injured.

We have a crew on the way and we will update this developing report as we learn more.
