Golden Globe winning actress America Ferrera is coming to Dayton today in support of Hillary Clinton.
According to the Clinton campaign, Ferrera will have a voter registration event at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Dayton at 330 Kiefaber St.
However, University of Dayton officials said it has not sanctioned this event or any related voter registration effort.
Ferrera is not the only celebrity coming to town this weekend for Clinton. Several TV actors, including Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, Dule’ Hill, Joshua Malina and Mary McCormack will be in Dayton on Sunday.
