Update 4:08 p.m. EDT May 7: Police arrested two men Tuesday in connection with the shooting of two Indiana judges in the parking lot of a White Castle in Indianapolis during the early hours of May 1, WXIN reported.
Alfredo Vazquez, 23, and Brandon Kaiser, 41, were arrested Tuesday by Indianapolis police, the television station reported.
Kaiser is charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, carrying a handgun without a license and battery, according to WXIN. Vazquez is charged with assisting a criminal.
Both suspects are due in court Wednesday.
Original report: The judges, from Clark County, were in Indianapolis for a three-day Spring Judicial College conference that began Wednesday morning, WTHR reported. They were identified as Brad Jacobs and Drew Adams, according to the News and Tribune of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

The judges were injured around 3:23 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Genae Cook said in a news release.
"They were involved in a disturbance at a nearby bar that followed into the (White Castle) parking lot," Cook said in the statement. "The disturbance continued, at which time both judges were shot."
Investigators have not located a gun and are trying to determine if the two men shot each other or were shot by someone else, WXIN reported.
They are looking for surveillance cameras in the area that might reveal clues about what happened, WTHR reported.
Detectives do not believe the incident was related to the men’s position as judges, Cook said in the news release.
