Police in Springfield have canceled, without comment, an Endangered Missing Person Alert for a 57-year-old man with dementia who went missing in Springfield.
He was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Authorities were concerned for his well being, as he left his residence on foot.

Allen Hayslip is a white male with black hair and hazel eyes. He is six feet, one inch tall and weighs 170 lbs.
He was last seen on Moorefield Road in Springfield. A release indicated he left his residence and had not returned home since.
