The driver of a car was transported by CareFlight after he drove of the left side of New Carlisle Pike in Bethel Twp. And struck a mailbox and tree Wednesday.

Driver seriously hurt after striking tree in Clark Co.

A driver went off the right side of the road and struck a mailbox and crashed into a tree in the 9300 block of New Carlisle Pike.

The driver is in serious condition and was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, according to the Ohio State Highway Patol’s Springfield Post.

The crash remains under investigaiton.


A medical helicopter is responding this evening to a serious crash.

The single-car crash was reported just before 5 p.m. in the 9300 block of New Carlisle Pike, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

According to initial reports, a car crashed into a tree.
