Isaiah Carson, who was placed on administrative leave in January from his duties as Springfield City School District’s varsity boys basketball coach, is no longer with the district.

Carson was placed on leave in January after being arrested on domestic violence charges, according to a district spokeswoman.

Moore also said Matt Yinger was named as interim varsity basketball coach last season.

Carson, 34, of Springfield, was found guilty at his trial in March, according to Clark County Municipal Court records. He was ordered to serve 60 days in jail, with 120 of the 180 days suspended, to be on probation for a year and to have no contact with the victim.
