The parents of Logan Turner and the Sinclair Community College Foundation have created a scholarship fund that will support Springboro High School students studying engineering at Sinclair.
"If you were fortunate to know Logan, you probably knew him as an incredibly kind, determined young man who found fulfillment in impacting the lives of others," said Danita Turner, Logan's mother.
Danita Turner and her ex-husband Michael Turner have dedicated the fund to graduating senior students at Springboro High School, who have been accepted to Sinclair Community College to pursue a degree in an engineering discipline.

Logan Turner, 30, was among nine people killed when Bellbrook High School graduate Connor Betts opened fire on people in the Oregon District on Aug. 4.
“We are honored that the Turner family has chosen Sinclair to establish this special Scholarship Fund,” “This scholarship will be life-changing for students who have a desire to enter a career in engineering and who may not otherwise be able to afford the education,” Steve Johnson, president of Sinclair College, said in a news release. “This is a wonderful way to honor Logan’s memory and for his life to continue making a difference in the community and in the industry he loved.”
