Clark, Champaign County roads to be closed Monday

A Clark County road will be closed on Monday for work, according to a release from the Clark County Engineer’s Office.

Middle Urbana Road in Moorefield Township will be closed to through traffic during work hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fog seal work.

The closure is between State Route 334 and Moorefield Road.

A road in Champaign County will also be closed, according to a release from the Champaign County Engineer’s Office.

Dallas Road in Urbana Township will be closed between Cedar Creek Road and Moores Run Road beginning on Monday, Aug. 24, according to Champaign County Engineer Stephen McCall.

The road will be close for two weeks for the rehabilitation of a 17-foot prestressed concrete box beam bridge.

McCall said the funding for this project is through shares of motor vehicle and license fees and gasoline tax.
