Power has been restored to most after thunderstorms brought high winds and heavy rainfall that blew down tree branches and knocked out thousands.

The majority of power outages was reported in Montgomery County, with more than 5,400 as of 4:30 p.m., according to the AES Ohio online outage map. By 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, that number was down to 535, and by 10:36 p.m., it was down to 29.
