A view of cells in in the Miami County Jail, the county's maximum-security facility in the safety building in downtown Troy. Each cell can fit up to four inmates; the cell pictured is used for housing female inmates. The county is considering asking voters to approve a $100 million plan to build a new maximum-security facility next to its existing minimum-security facility on County Road 25-A, just north of Troy.
